The W-13-1 is made of durable insulating firebrick, and long-lasting, rust resistant Stainless Steel cabinet. The Bartlett Genesis-mini controller saves time, makes casting more reliable, and gives consistently repeatable results.

The W-13-1 has a heavy-gauge stainless steel case to resist corrosion. Heating elements are recessed to protect the element, yet the element is still accessible for easy replacement. This furnace also includes a top vent with ceramic plug for lost wax burnout. A spring door latch tightly seals the door while permitting easy opening with one hand for removal of hot flasks.
